There are various ways to learn new skills with the help of CHAP, either by volunteering or by attending one of our various training courses.
An Introduction to Advocacy Awareness training informs individuals about the necessary skills and qualities required to work with members of the public.
Housing Advocacy Training is offered to volunteers / students who have been allocated roles within the Housing Advocacy department.
Challenging Behaviour and Defusing Confrontational Situations training is provided to staff / volunteers / students to highlight the main issues surrounding challenging behaviour and confrontational situations.
All of CHAP's training packages can also be delivered externally to other organisations.
